Mirai was born in 1995, with the first reservation system in Spain with immediate confirmation for hotels.

Since the beginning, Mirai has aimed to help the hotelier take advantage of technology and the internet. During the years, hundreds of Spanish hotels have enjoyed direct exposure on the internet thanks to Mirai.

Throughout all this time, we've been trying to be different. We try hard to lead the industry into new opportunities.

Back then...

Mirai is a typical garage company. The project was born in a small 30 m² (320 ft²) apartment in Madrid and back then the only member and owner was a Japanese entrepreneur.

His motivation and ideas came from simply needing to find a hotel on the web in those days and not being able to.

During the years, one of Mirai's beliefs has been that hoteliers themselves can take advantage of the new opportunities that the internet offers.  

Now...

Mirai has gradually increased its audience, both hoteliers and end users, converting a lot of them into clients, since its foundation.   

We have gradually expanded and renewed our team during these years and today there are 30 of us working in our offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Paris.

After 11 years of non-stop changes, we find ourselves with:

  • A growing base of loyal and happy hoteliers and users.
  • Deep knowledge of the industry.
  • A solid position in the market after 13 years of experience.

We are keenly aware that we're in the business of technology and we're highly committed to investing in it.

That means the best software engineers and developers, implementing new technologies, continuous training and R&D.
